Job Description
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for ensuring operations for infrastructure and application solutions are reliable and sustainable by incorporating automation towards installation and configuration of entire technology stack.
Essential Job Functions:
- 3+ years of experience working within a DevOps Infrastructure support role
- Software product configuration management (SCM)
- Coordination on release planning
- Continuous Integration (CI) Continuous Delivery (CD) and Continuous Testing
- Continuous Logging, Monitoring, Alerting & Feedback
- Ensure that post-production operational processes / deliverables are well designed and implemented prior to the project moving into the solution support phase.
- Define and create operational procedures, processes, and scripts.
- Follow appropriate change/release management practices.
- Support and maintain infrastructure solutions utilizing required tools and technologies.
- Configure and monitor cloud infrastructure and services as it pertains to the application’s hardware and business processes
- Facilitate collaboration between development and operations teams throughout the application lifecycle
- Partner with Corporate Information Security to ensure all security policies and audit inquiries are addressed
Technical Skills:
- Cloud platform: Azure / GCP / AWS
- Preferred scripting: Helm and Terraform
